In 1969, the fastest chronograph movement in the history of mechanical watch manufacturing was born. It was the El Primero 400 manufactured by Zenith. This high-precision movement certified by the Observatory has reached an unprecedented high frequency-36,000 times per hour, and it can accurately count 1/10 seconds. At the same time, on this basis, the brand also successfully launched a calendar, flyback timing, and even a complex tourbillon. El Primero’s reliability makes the brand’s styles with basic timing functions based on it, and it remains a strong technical product for the brand for 40 years. In 2009, a whole series of watches decorated with brand color bars was released, marking the 40-year journey of El Primero in the watch industry.
